The Library now has furniture designed by Year 13 Textile students Andrew Elias, Lorna Cross Clark, Melissa Sharp and Brytnee Parnaby. Congratulations to the designers and Textiles teacher Miss Goddard!
The Library is thrilled with the new upholstery, based on items seen in the Library, and demonstrating a range of design/art processes. Students measured and made computer models of the furniture using CAD, designed paper patterns and made toiles before printing the final textiles using the sublimation printing, then sewing the covers.
