The Year 8 Girls recently played in the north side basketball draw against Bishop Douglass, with the winners qualifying for the final to face the south. The girls played to a very high standard and dominated most of the match, despite a resurgence from Bishop Douglass in the third quarter.
Our girls defended well, and took opportunities to put the ball in the basket at the other end. Before long, the match was ours! The girls played very well as a team, supporting each other when necessary and showing excellent respect for each other and their opponents. Watch this space for details of the final!
