We are so delighted that former student Joel Corry came to visit us at school today. Fresh off the back of opening Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball at the weekend, Joel spoke with Year 11 students about his career and how he made it from EBS to multi-platinum music awards.
It has taken 10 years to break into the music industry, and Joel put this down to hard work and perseverance; practising in his bedroom over and over again to achieve his goals. Joel was nominated for three Brit Awards last year, and his career is going from strength to strength.
A huge thank you from EBS to Joel for inspiring the next generation of students, who were simply ‘buzzing’ as they left the auditorium. We hope to see you again, Joel!
