On Thursday 5th December, Capel Manor College visited us for a lunchtime careers talk in the library. Lunchtime talks are available to all year groups, but this session particularly appealed to a large selection of Year 11s and a few Sixth Formers. The visitors said:
it was nice to speak to such an engaging group of students
Students left surprised at the new range of courses offered at the college, as many were under the impression that is was mainly Animal care. Changes to their curriculum mean that business and digital skills, event management and saddlery floristry are now on offer. These courses all have an environmental base to them and courses as well as apprenticeships our offered at all levels from 1-3.
Interested students are invited to attend an Advice Evening on Thursday 16th January 2025, where all will have the opportunity to discover courses, meet the knowledgeable tutors, and gain insights into what studying at Capel Manor could look like – a great opportunity!
