On Tuesday 4th December, the Year 11 GCSE Music group met up at the Vue Cinema, North Finchley to see Wicked Part 1. Directed by Jon M. Chu and written by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox, with songs by Stephen Schwartz, including of course our set work ‘Defying Gravity’, it was an incredible adaptation of the first act of the stage musical. We were all excited to see it and even more excited to talk about it when it ended. The music, the cast, the scenery, the CGI, the colours, the costumes…everything was amazing. If you love musicals and film it is a must see. The students of course did EBS proud and it was a pleasure to share the evening with them. Looking forward to Part 2!
