Keller House grabbed first prize at our annual Christmas Tree Decorating Competition! There were four great entries from each House and Ms Swaine deliberated on the winner after hearing the thinking behind each design from each of the House Ambassadors. Keller House were our very worthy winners embodying resourcefulness, creativity and community spirit. Sarah Evans, our Keller House Ambassador explained:
“On realising all our tree lights had broken we decided to go ‘all out’ with the paper decorations and decorate the whole of the library window to make up for it! As an Art Teacher, our Head of House Mr Davies was very keen for us to get really creative with the paper designs. We wanted to make a statement so we even got the community involved with Girl Guides from the Second East Barnet Guides helping – A big shout out to them!”
The competition between second and third place was tough but Tutu just clinched it with a great creative effort. Well done to all four houses: 1st Keller, 2nd Tutu, 3rd Chama, 4th Murray. House points all round!
House Ambassadors:

Students and Staff in the Student Hub also got creative and made a show stopping ‘mannequin Christmas Tree’ with foliage from the school grounds – inspired!
