Our Mathematics Team at East Barnet School had a fantastic time celebrating Pi Day and the International Day of Mathematics, embracing the theme of “Playing with Maths”.
Students were challenged to think creatively and logically through a range of engaging activities designed to highlight the fun, curiosity, and problem-solving at the heart of mathematics. One of the highlights of the day was a mathematical riddle that encouraged everyone to put their reasoning skills to the test.
Events like these are a great opportunity to show that mathematics is not just about numbers and formulas, but also about exploration, collaboration, and enjoyment.
Can you work out the riddle? 🧠➗
We hope our celebrations inspired students to see maths from a new perspective and to keep asking questions – on Pi Day and beyond!
