At East Barnet School, we are firmly committed to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for all students. We proudly kicked off Anti-Bullying Week with Odd Socks Day, encouraging everyone to celebrate individuality and show that it’s okay to be different.
Throughout the week, students took part in a range of activities focused on promoting kindness, celebrating our differences and reinforcing the importance of using our voices for good. These sessions reminded students how vital it is to stand up, speak out and report any bullying behaviour, helping to ensure that everyone feels respected and supported within our school community.
To close the week, we recognised students who truly embodied our values of kindness and respect by awarding them special recognition cards – a small gesture to acknowledge the positive impact they have on others.
While Anti-Bullying Week shines an important spotlight on these issues, our commitment doesn’t stop there. We will continue to promote kindness, respect and positive behaviour throughout the academic year, always encouraging our students to “Do the right thing”!!
