What a fantastic return of the EBS Big Bad Quiz!
The atmosphere was hugely exciting while Quiz Master and Mistress, Richard and Alice Gardham, kept us wracking our brains and on our toes with challenging – but not too challenging rounds. We were treated to an absolutely delicious Lamb Madras with mango mousse and all the trimmings, by Head Chef Cezar, and Chef Louis, at the interval. Dietary options included a paneer and cauliflower curry. The excitement mounted at the end of the night with a tie-break for the winners. It was close, but in the end team 2School4Cool were crowed the winners, with the spot on answer for “How many full-time headteachers has EBS had since It opened in 1937?” – do you know the answer?!
Not only was the night great fun, but the PTFA managed to raise a total £2493 for the event. After the cost of food and drink, we are expecting a gross profit of £1,850!
