East Barnet School > Visitors > British Heart Foundation CPR

When we were approached by the British Heart Foundation to be the school to help promote their Classroom RevivR initiative, we jumped at the chance! Having Matt Green, The Rapping Science Teacher, visit us again with his new CPR rap was just an added bonus.

A group of Year 8 students were chosen to take part in their life-saving class which can be run by teachers and support staff anywhere, for free. There is no specialist equipment required – students can practice CPR using a jacket or a bag, making it very accessible.

The students also enjoyed Matt’s new rap and were even taking part in some sections, although it was very fast! We hope all the students enjoyed the experience and took something valuable away from it. Watch this space to see the video that was produced by the British Heart Foundation. We will share it with you as soon as it goes live.
