From March 24th to 28th, the EBS Library was buzzing with excitement as we hosted our Easter Scholastic Book Fair – and what a fantastic week it turned out to be!
The fair gave students an opportunity to explore and purchase a wide range of Young Adult fiction titles, from bestselling authors to hidden gems – all at discounted prices. With genres to suit every reader, the event helped promote a love of reading across all year groups, just in time for the Easter break.
But this book fair wasn’t just about buying books – it was about giving back, too. Thanks to the enthusiastic support of our students, staff, and families, the fair raised an impressive £659.78 in total sales. Even more excitingly, this means we have earned £263.91 in Scholastic Rewards, which will be used to purchase brand-new books for our school library!
A special shout-out goes to our team of student librarians, who played a vital role in running the fair. From setting up the displays to helping fellow students find the perfect read; their energy and dedication helped make the event such a success.
Thank you to everyone who visited, browsed, and bought books – your support not only encourages a reading culture in our school but also helps us keep our library shelves stocked with exciting and diverse reads for all.
We can’t wait to bring the Book Fair back again soon!
