Today we celebrated Pi Day 2025, a truly mathematical (and magical!) date in the calendar. To mark the occasion, Year 8 students took part in an engaging numbers quiz that put their problem-solving and teamwork skills to the test.
Using mini whiteboards and interactive screens, students worked through a range of numerical challenges, checking their answers with the teacher before adding them to the shared display. The classroom was full of focused thinking, collaboration, and plenty of mathematical discussion.
Well done to everyone who took part, and congratulations to the winning team! Events like Pi Day are a great way to celebrate enthusiasm for mathematics while encouraging confidence, curiosity, and enjoyment in learning.
