Congratulations to our 14 Year 9 students who graduated on Wednesday 25th February at SOAS University of London.
The day provided an eye-opening insight into university life. Students enjoyed a guided tour of the campus, making the most of the sunshine in the tucked-away corners of Russell Square. They also had the opportunity to sit in a lecture room, giving them a real sense of what studying at university might be like.
Students received valuable advice about their futures and the pathways available to them. A highlight of the day was a Q&A session with current undergraduate students, who shared honest and engaging insights into day-to-day student life, as well as the wide range of courses on offer. Hearing about SOAS’s globally focused curriculum while standing in its light-filled atrium gave a real sense of being part of something international and inspiring.
The library was another standout moment – quiet yet full of purpose – as students took in the vast collection of books and resources around them.
The day concluded with a graduation ceremony celebrating the achievements of our hardworking and ambitious students. It was a fantastic experience and a memorable milestone for all involved.
