Well, it has been another fantastic year for our A-Level and GCSE students! Whether it be a pathway to Sixth Form or university, we work extremely hard to facilitate the journey our students want to make, whilst developing their character to be fantastic upstanding members of society. It is on days like this that we couldn’t be prouder of all they have achieved.
A-Levels
Our Headteacher was on hand, with many other members of staff to congratulate our Year 13s. It is always a bittersweet moment as we are also saying goodbye to some students we have known for almost a decade! We love to keep in contact with our alumni, so don’t think you are getting rid of us that easily! Best of luck in the future!
GCSEs
Students taking their GCSEs this year, started their secondary school journey whilst we were in the midst of Covid-19, which makes their achievements all the more amazing. Our local celebrity, the Rapping Science Teacher, chose East Barnet School as his venue to release a new rap for all those receiving their results.
BBC Reports
We were fortunate enough to welcome the BBC to the school, where they interviewed our students both on the radio and for the website. There is one quote from one of our students that we will always remember and that is, “Call the emergency services – it’s 999 – and if you want to read more about that, it is on the BBC website!
Congratulations to all students!
